44The assembling of new LV-67C based orbit node can be broken down into 4 tasks.
    55
    6  1. [#CaseAssembly Install Motherboard / Power supply]
    76 1. [#Lv67cBios Flash The LV67-C bios]
    87 1. [#Cm3Install flash and install the CM3 module]
9  1. [#Disk Install Disk and close case]
     8 1. [#CaseAssembly Install Motherboard / Power supply]

1318=== Components you will need to assemble a case: ===
    1419==== System: ====

    1722 * 1 x Sata Hard drive
    1823 * 1 x CM3
    19  * requsite cables for CM3
24 * requsite cables for CM3 '''ILYA FIX ME'''
    2025 * 1 x sata cable
    2126 * 1 x serial cable (from cm3 to motherboard)

4247 * 2 x minipice adapter screws (supplied with adapter)
    4348 * 3 x ufl-sma pig tails (9in)
    44
    4549=== Main U chassis: ===
4650 1. Assemble the mother board:
47   1. Attach the minicpie and pcimcia cards to the mother board.
51  1. Attach the minicpie and pcimcia cards to the mother board.
52   1. The mother board should come out of the static bag with cpu and memory installed.
4853  1. Connect all the pig tails and route the wires to the right side (facing the rear) of the motherboard.
49   1. The mother board should come out of the static bag with cpu and memory installed. The orientation of the screw holes on the chassis is very specific. The Mother board should be aligned with the screw holes so that the headers point away from the vent hatching on the u channel.
54  1. The Mother board should be aligned with the screw holes so that the headers point away from the vent hatching on the u channel.
55   1. The orientation of the screw holes on the chassis is very specific.
56   1. While aligning the mother board route the sma header from under neath the motherboard to the right behind the standoff.
57    1. This keeps the sma-ufl wires away from the cpu fan.
5058  1. Once aligned use the 1/2" screws to secure the mother board.
    5159 1. Install Power supply:

6876  1. Use the 6-32 1/4" pan head screw to fasten the top of the power supply (near the 3 prong power header) to the rear cap.
6977  1. Bolt all the sma headers to the face plate. The header position convention used is:
70      1. Header 1 of the wimax card goes to the left most (closest to the power supply) hole.
71      1. Header 2 immediately to the right of header 1.
72      1. !WiFi header of the 802.11 card goes to the right most hole.
    73 ----
74 == How to connect up power/disk headers and Flash The LV67-C bios == #Lv67cBios
78   1. Header 1 of the wimax card goes to the left most (closest to the power supply) hole.
79   1. Header 2 immediately to the right of header 1.
80   1. !WiFi header of the 802.11 card goes to the right most hole.
     81 1. Mounting the CM:
82  1. Attach the 3 6-32 hex stand offs to the cm card with the 3 6-32 pan head screws
83  1. thread the other end of the serial cable between the 3 stand offs
84  1. align the 3 stand offs with the 3 triangle oriented holes on the front left corner of the top of the U chassis.
85  1. use the 3 3/16" 100 degree screws to attach the cm to the U chassis
     86 1. Wiring the CM:
     87  1. '''ILYA FIX ME'''
88 1. Attach and Wire the hard drive:
89  1. attach the M3 5mm hex stand offs to the hard dive using the bottom holes.
90  1. Align the female end of  stand offs with the holes on the right side of the front face plate (facing front)
91   1. The face plate should be oriented so that the cm holes are in the upper left corner.
92   1. The drive should be on the "inside" of the chassis and sata header should point to the left (towards the center of the case).
93  1. Fasten the disk, stand off assembly to the face plate with the M3 5mm pan head screws.
94  1. Attach power and sata cables to the drive.
95   1.When attaching the sata cable to the mother board, use the header closest to the CPU (sata1)
96 1. loop the velcro strap through the holes on the bottom:
97  1. Tie down all the loose wires.
98  1.This prevents stray wires from getting to close to the cpu fan.
99 1. Mount the rear face plate:
100  1. Use the three 6-32 1/4" 100 degree screws to attach the front face.
101   1. use only the 2 side and bottom screw holes
102   1. the top of the face plate will be attached to the top cover
103 1. Attach the Top Cover
104  1. Use the remaning screws to attach the top cover.
105  1. The rear of the top cover should go below the cap.

81  1. Attach the M3 5mm hex stand offs to the hard dive using the bottom holes. Align these stand offs with the holes on the right side of the front face plate (facing front), make sure to orient the drive so that the header point to the left (towards the inside of the case). Fasten the disk, stand off assembly to the face plate with the M3 5mm pan head screws.
82  1. Attach requite power and sata cables. When attaching the sata cable to the mother board, use the header closest to the CPU (sata1)
83  1. Mount the rear face plate using the three 6-32 1/4" 100 degree screws on the sides and bottom.
84  1. loop the velcro strap through the holes on the bottom (near the front face), tie down all the loose wires. This prevents stray wires from getting to close to the cpu fan.
85  1. use the remaning screws to attach the top cover. The rear of the top cover should go below the cap.
