= Node images =

All of our images are Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable based. There are currently three sets of images but only the first two are officially supported:

 * baseline images - for experimentation purposes
 * kernel development images - for development purposes
 * [wiki:Documentation/UserContributedImages user contributed images] - user supplied images which others may make use of

== Baseline images ==

This is a list of baseline images Orbit currently supports for use on the Orbit grid and sandboxes.

== Kernel Development Images ==

These images are for development, as such you are expected to patch the kernel yourself. Image updates are provided upon wireless stack updates from the linvile's wireless-dev git tree. In addition to having the latest and greatest these images also have enabled debugging options for kernel development.
