Please try using baseline.ndz which points to the latest image, there
was a recent overhaul on the baseline but I hadn't documented it (I'll
do so now). The problem with the old baselines is they were based on
*really* old base images that through time some stuff escaped package
mantainers to clean/remove like the old init script stuff which
sometimes gave us strange problems.
The new baseline is based on Debian's latest PXE boot image so we're
starting fresh.
Technically though you shouldn't have a problem using old images and
trying to install software so long as you do apt-get update, and then
apt-get dist-upgrade next, except for those strange issues I mentioned
you may face. However, if possible I recommend users to use
baseline.ndz.
