ORBIT-USER: Connecting to the database from outside ORBIT

Hi Masood,

For variety of reasons idb1 is not visible from outside of the ORBIT
network. You either have to use ssh tunneling or run your script on
gw.orbit-lab.org.

Dear all,

I'm having a little problem here with connecting to the database --from
outside ORBIT.
I've customized the following script:

But, "idb1.orbit-lab.org" is not resolved; it doesn't respond to Ping
either. Any ideas?
