ORBIT-USER: Connecting to the database from outside ORBIT

Dear all,

I'm having a little problem here with connecting to the database --from
outside ORBIT.
I've customized the following script:
http://www.orbit-lab.org/wiki/Documentation/OTG/Measurement/DatabaseProcess

But, "idb1.orbit-lab.org" is not resolved; it doesn't respond to Ping
either. Any ideas?
