This is normally extracted to a directory called build., However you do not
need to do anything special to build the application
Do the following:
Check out iperf source from svn using
svn co http://svn.orbit-lab.org/svn/orbit/iperf/tags/rel-1.0.0 iperf
Run ./configure;make;
This should build the application.
Let me know how that works out. and I will update the documentation to get
rid of the confusing instructions

msmt1, msmt2...etc is just an illustration, The actual measurement is the
one that is in ReportDefault.c
oml_receiverport(stats->transferID,tput,jitter,loss). I have fixed the wiki
to avoid confusion
