Dear all,
We recently added the following feature to NodeHandler v4: the ability
for a user to define topologies in his experiment script from already
existing topologies.
One simple useful case for this is when a user needs to write an
experiment script that is not particularly tied to some sets of
predefined nodes, but rather uses any nodes active and available at the
experiment running time (e.g. using the 'topo_grid_active' from the
imaging process to define his own topologies).
A tutorial+example on how to use this feature is available at:
http://www.orbit-lab.org/wiki/Tutorial/HowToTopology
And more information on the various topology-related commands is
available at:
http://www.orbit-lab.org/wiki/Documentation/NodeHandler/Commands/defTopology
If you have the chance, could you please give a go at using this
functionality, and inform me of any problem, comments, or suggestions?
Regards,
Thierry.
