Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it but it doesn't work. The tables
are still empty.

from my recent experience you have to pay attention to two things:

- the rate by which the receiver reports results is once in 10 seconds
- the default duration of an iperf run is 10 seconds, the property is
actually there, although it is not given in the sample script

try

'time' => 30

on sender side and

'report_interval' => 1

on the receiver side

by default the duration and report interval are the same and it may
easily occur that the run is over before anything is reported to the
database
