ORBIT-USER: telnet and ssh to nodes

Hello,
I'd like to have the nodes in the sandbox to exchange emails.
I'm trying to install the sendmail packet in each of the nodes but i get
not found errors. Is sendmail the best option? also, which would be
each nodes recipient name? (or should i use their ips 10.1.101.17/18?
The output of apt-get is:
node1-1:/etc/apt# apt-get install sendmail
