ORBIT-USER: Questions about forwarding experiment on grid

hi, all:

Did anyone recently try the forwarding experiment 
(http://www.orbit-lab.org/wiki/Documentation/OTG/ScriptsRepository/ExpFWD) 
on the grid?

I have two problems about this example:

1) route set-up for the sender to use forwarder
I am assuming this route setup should be done before the experiment. 
However, when I try the perl script, I always got an error msg "SIOCADDRT: 
Network is unreachable", which means the 11.0.0.1 (expected gateway) is 
unreachable.
And I tried the "iwconfig" command on node4-3 but got only this:
eth0      no wireless extensions.
eth1      no wireless extensions.
lo        no wireless extensions.

So what is the correct procedure to setup the routing table entry.

2) Without trying setup the routing table entry but using the command 
"node.net.w0.gateway = "11.0.0.1", I tried the experiment anyway,
however, the node5-8 and 7-6 never startup.
Actully, during my experience on the grid, sometimes, I just cannot start 
particular nodes by all means, (wget command and nodehandler), therefore, 
even the "hello world" example cannot run then.
Anyone have similar experience?
