Hello, I am a new user to the Orbit Lab and had a number of potentially
simple questions that I felt were not answered in the manuals or other
documentation. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.
1. In the OML program, is it possible to access more information about
the sending/receiving node's interference levels, beyond RSSI?
Currently, only those parameters that are exposed by the underlying
drivers and hardware are reported. So, for now, we only have RSSI levels
reported along with the Transmit Rate used by the sender
2. Are the noise generator antennae able to be controlled manually or is
it strictly by script?
Control to the noise generator antennas is through a web service. So,
you should be able to use your own wrappers to make these calls. We will
make these available soon. Is there a specific reason why you want to
bypass the scripts?
3. In most of the examples, an Experiment.project line is filled in and I
would like to know what is expected in this form.
It is reserved for future use to be tied in with a particular project
tied in to the login credentials (mostly for accounting purposes). For
now, you may leave it as is or replace with any appropriate string
