ORBIT-USER: CMC source code

Hi Chris,

When you say you want to do direct control of the nodes you already have
it - just look at the service running at
http://cmc.orbit-lab.org:5012/cmc . Is there a particular direct control
that is missing in that set? CMC itself essentially is just a proxy that
talks to the individual nodes controllers. Implementing commands beyond
what is already there would require modifications of the CM code running
on each of the nodes.

Hope that helps.

Ivan.

PS: I have a few comments regarding radio environment but have to run to
the anechoic chamber to finally get the Orbit node antenna patterns;
hopefully will manage to add my 2c latter this afternoon ...

Subject: ORBIT-USER: CMC source code

I'm interested in taking a look the CMC source code and experimenting a
bit with the direct control of the nodes.

Is it available? and if I were to run CMC based code from the console
would the packets that it sends be able to reach the control device
attached to each node on the grid?

Thanks,
Chris
