Hi Chris:
I routinely use ethereal (new name: wireshark) or tcpdump - the text
version is called tethereal (new name: tshark). You can install it using
apt-get install.
Put the card in monitor mode first using "iwconfig athX mode monitor" (old
driver) or "wlanconfig athX create wlandev wifiX wlanmode monitor".
